| CopyCatch Campus was developed in co-operation with the Open University, who had decided to use CopyCatch Gold but needed both to extend its capabilities to the handling of course sizes of thousands and to automate the whole process. Comparing even 50 files requires 1225 pairwise comparisons. 2000 files requires 1,999,000 comparisons, so the problem was not a simple one. This file can be used to send email reports to both adminstrators and course chairs. The Open University place the reports on a web page using parallel frames, to achieve the side-by-side effect of the full version of CopyCatch, but the use of the report and the HTML files is flexible. |
